Daniel Negreanu’s $1 Million Dollar Online WSOP Bracelet Bet

After making a big scene about not betting on whether the WSOP was going to be put on ice by the global pandemic, Negreanu is back with a new WSOP bet.

The seven time bracelet winner hasn’t nabbed a gold band since the 2013 WSOP but he’s still only asking that the general public lay him 2.5 to 1 on him getting one this year. His goal is to drum up $1 million in action with a per person cap of $100k.

A cap which poker players and fans have hit now three times.

The series has moved online for 2020 which might explain the low odds. Negreanu is a site ambassador for one of the hosts, which makes one suspect that his personal financial investment in the series this year will at least partly cover his $400k exposure on this side bet.

For anyone who is actually playing the series this year, Negreanu recently updated his Twitter to add another bet. This one is a competetive either/or bet on who will win a bracelet.

Any player who takes it up with him will win if they take down a bracelet and he doesn’t. If both players win at least one bracelet or both players win zero bracelets, the game is a push.

If you want in, you can slide into Negreanu’s DMs on Twitter.
