Hun Wei Lee Pockets $161,886 with WSOP PLO Bounty Bracelet Win

Australias Hun Wei Lee bagged himself a WSOP gold bracelet in event 37 of the summer online schedule, pocketing a total of $161,886 in the $1050 buy-in Bounty Pot Limit Omaha…

A field of 971 entries produced close to a $1million prizepool, with half of that set aside for bounties, some 134 players cashing and $79,896 up top from the regular half of the prizefund.

Not everyone sees a return on their buy-in of course, and among them would be Alex Foxen and Mike Watson, with Sergei Reixach also falling short of the cash.

The money bubble burst when Chris Hunichen laid a bad beat on the optimistically-named Y0UWILLLOSE with the chips going in on the flop..

Hunichen would eventually fall in 44th, but one player who did make the final table was Alex 'rubbherducky' Difelice, the Canadian’s second at PLO this series, although he was also destined for a second consecutive Newhouse-esque 9th place finish.

Difelice’s conqueror, Manchester’s Craig Timmis, saw off the next three players as well, before Lee took over and felted his remaining four opponents, Timmis in 3rd and Finland’s Janne 'Fructu' Peltoniemi heads-up…

That gave Lee the bracelet and $79,896 first prize, with an additional $81,990 in bounties to make it a whopping $161,886, almost $100k clear of 2nd place.
