Biggest Ever Online No Limit Hold’em Pot Smashed on Natural8

The old joke about waiting ages for a bus and then several coming along at once seems to have started playing out on the Natural8 highstakes online cash tables – the second record-breaking hand in a week appearing as Ali Imsirovic pulled in a monster $974,631 pot.

Tan 'tan4321' Xuan was the unfortunate player who bluffed away close to $½million on the hand, his pocket pair outgunned by Imsirovic’s rivered flush and the Bosnian-born Canadian snapping off the $300k bluff.

That set a new record for an online NLHE pot, toppling last week’s effort by Wiktor 'Limitless' Malinowski in the same highstakes VIP game on Natural8.

Malinowski had pocketed an $842,438 pot when his aces held up against Aussie crusher Michael Addamo’s kings.

That hand itself had smashed a long-standing record from one of the ‘railheaven’ games on Full Tilt back in 2008.

Another aces over kings scenario saw Di 'Urindanger' Dang take a $723,941 pot against Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan.

The overall online record for a poker hand remains $1,356,947, the massive pot won by Patrik Antonius against Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom back in 2009, again on Full Tilt.

With the nosebleed players on Natural8 now consistently sitting with $½million+ stacks and seemingly unafraid of getting it in the middle, it’s only a matter of time before that $1million No Limit Hold’em barrier is broken.
