TheseKids Scoops $269,478 with ACR OSS Main Event Victory

Americas CardRoom and their OSS proved to be a Super Series for many players, but for one in particular it was the best-ever -  theseKids scooping the $269,478 first prize in the $1million guaranteed Main Event last weekend…

The OSS is ACR’s mid-level buy-in part of the Online Super Series Cub3d, which had already seen the MOSS (Mini OSS) completed.

The grand finale of the OSS was the Main Event, and that $1million guarantee was smashed to bits as 2781 entries appeared for the $630 buy-in flagship tournament, making a prizepool of $1,668,600.

There would be 324 places paid, with the top four of those looking at life-changing 6-figure scores, and some of the site’s best-known regs were battling and streaming their efforts.

There would be no title for JJ and no repeat of Ryan DePaulo’s incredible WSOP victory, but Canadian ‘LeetRunGood’ was among the pro regs who made it deep, a 9th place finish worth $15k.

The prizemoney soon rose sharply, and jcm_1995 became the first player to pocket a 6-figure payout, 4th spot worth a cool $105,121.

Down to just three, and it would be Kelvin 'Palau77' Kerber to fall next, 3rd place and $147,671 for the Brazilian pro, leaving Omniscient and theseKids heads-up for the OSS Main Event title.

There could be only one of course, and that proved to be theseKids, taking top spot and $269,478 to go with the trophy – Omniscient taking a substantial $198,563 as runner-up.

This weekend sees the even bigger BOSS Series Main Event taking place on ACR, and there’s still time to win your $2,650 buy-in to the $1million GTD tournament this Sunday.
