Exploring the New Gaming Expos Set to Make 2021 the Perfect Year

Poker players and gamblers have it rather easy in many respects - we just turn up and play, or log in and off we go - while all the ideas and effort behind the casinos and games on offer goes largely unnoticed. For aficionados, however, 2021 already has a list of can’t-miss events…

It’s a fair bet that if you are reading this you’ve already indulged your fair share of the following: Poker, sportsbetting, eSports, online gaming, land-based casinos, with mobile play and payment solutions two things you take for granted.

Well, that’s why thousands (tens of thousands even) congregate several times a year in various parts of the world to show off their skills and wares, just as they would in poker tournaments or eSports events.

Though 2020 was a bit of a washout for obvious reasons, the rainbow on the horizon has already seen several 2021 massive events lined up, with the biggest set to hit London, Las Vegas and Macau.

More than 35,000 professionals and 600 gaming solutions will be on display when the ICE London arrives at the end of June, exhibition stands with all new uk casinos available for industry stalwarts to check out what 2021 has to offer.

You can expect to find everything and everyone you need to know, the weekend event ‘featuring over 600 solution experts covering all land based and online verticals, ICE London has everything you need, under one roof.’

That roof is the ExCel Exhibition Centre London and the event runs from June 29th to July 1st.

A month earlier, and half a world away, the Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) is THE place to be from May 25th -27th - the ‘must attend marketplace for the Asian gaming-entertainment industry’ as the organisers put it.

Macau plays host and for three days more than 95% of  Asian casino operators will descend on The Venetian Macau Cotai Expo Center to network, source new products and check out the latest industry trends.

The organisers will be hoping to match last year’s numbers, when almost 200 exhibitors shared their space with more than 16,000 professional attendees, making it a record-breaking 13th edition of G2E Asia.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a global gaming phenomenon if it didn’t include the City of Lights as a destination, and next year sees the Sands Expo Centre host G2E Las Vegas from October 5th- 7th.

In attendance will be ‘top gaming industry professionals from commercial, tribal, and international properties representing various business categories in the gaming ecosystem.’

That ecosystem includes land-based and online casinos, including new-casinos.ca  just across the border in California, with a host of experts from the regulatory, government, game development, iGaming and marketing industries, among much more.

“It is our commitment to use G2E’s platform, as the leading convener of the global gaming community, to continue to deliver unparalleled education content, inspiring collaboration, and innovative ideas as the industry readies for continued growth,” said Hervé Sedky, Reed Exhibitions Americas President.

As we all probably know by now, the past year has been an interesting one to say the least, but for those in the gaming industry it has been far from doom and gloom.

With many verticals showing continued good health, it has also been a boon for those of us who only rarely turn from poker to other games. Nevertheless, with 2020 almost behind us, maybe it’s time to learn how to play casino for free in 2021 and dip our toes into what the wider industry has to offer.
