Oliver Speidel Wins Aussie Millions Main Event and A$1.600.000

Oliver Speidel wins the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event.

The 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event has been played down to the winner. Oliver Speidel from Australia is the new champion and he takes home A$1.600.000 for his win.

In the last hand of the tournament Speidel and Kenneth Wong got all the chips in the middle before the flop.

Speidel revealed A-A, while Wong showed 9-9. Speidel's aces held and a new champion was found.

According to The Hendon Mob, Speidel had earned nearly $225.000 from live-tournaments before this win.

Speidel had a nice run this year in the Aussie Millions, and in addition to the Main Event win, he finished 2nd in the A$1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout event and then 6th in the A$1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty event.
