PostFlopAction Wins $317k & Gets Revenge On Isildur1 - Blom Still Ends The Day A Big Winner
PostFlopAction was able to exact a little revenge on Isildur1 yesterday at the 2-7 triple draw tables of Full Tilt
Yesterday we saw the resumptioTn of a few highstakes limit battles as once again Viktor "Isildur1" Blom took on Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables. This time it was the young Russian who prevailed in another ding dong battle to take $300k from Blom on his way to a $316.9k day.
Kostritsyn took on Blom during an evening session and lead pretty much throughout the 4.5 hour session, although Blom did peg has opponent back a few times before PostFlopAction eventually ran away with the match to take revenge after Blom took him for a good six figure score the previous day.
However, this certainly didn't mean that Isildur1 had a losing day - far from it in fact as he ended the day as the second biggest online winner, posting a win for the day of $239.8k. Blom had a dream start to the day taking over $160k from Kagome Kagome at the triple draw tables and around $90k from cottonseed1 at the FLO8 tables as well as a small win against Alex "Alexonmoon" Luneau. In fact, at one point in proceedings Blom went over $400k up for the day before Luneau in particular staged a comeback, leaving Isildur1 a $300k winner prior to his match with PostFlopAction.
As well as taking on PostFlopAction at the triple draw table Isildur1 also taking on first Sauce1234 for a short session of FLO8 before embarking on a 2hr 40min session at the same table with cottonseed1 yet again. Both sessions proved profitable for Blom as he took just over $30k from Sauce and eventually taking over $130k from cottonseed1, despite being six figures down in the session at one point.
Besides this two players we also saw another six figure display at Full Tilt from Erik1223 who posted a $112.3k win for the day, the majority of which he took at the $1k/$2k Mixed games playing against 1Mastermind.
The play at Full Tilt seems to have really taken over from PokerStars in a relatively short amount of time - the biggest winner at PokerStars yesterday (barcode) only managed 8th on the daily leader board with his $29.1k win.
The biggest pot of the day took place at Full Tilt's CAP PLO tables, and went to the day's 4th biggest winner Rob "Vaga_Lion" Akery
Akery has the best of it on the flop and holds on to take this $45.3k pot
There should be more great action to report on tomorrow as Isildur1 and PostFlopAction are once more duking it out at the triple draw tables and Isildur1 is also mixing it up at the highest stakes FLO8 tables once again.
