Chris Moorman Wins FTOPS XXII Event #3.
Xuan Liu comes close winning a major title yet again.

Chris Moorman, who just few days ago finished in 8th place for £57,000 in the EPT London Main Event, managed to take down his first FTOPS title ever last night.

Playing under "MoormanI", the UK pro managed to outlast 399 players in the FTOPS XXII Event #3, $216 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Rush -tournament. The tournament had a $85,000 guaranteed prize pool, so there was some overlay as the total prize pool ended up being $79,800.

Moorman earned $21,250 for his victory, and according to various sources he has now won over $9 million from online poker tournaments during his career. Moorman has also won $2.8 million from the live tournaments he has played.

"Finally won an FTOPS!, Of course it was in the RUSH PLO!! Thanks for those plo videos I grind every night just before bed :)", Moorman tweeted after his win.

Aaron Lim Wins APPT Seuol For $111k

Aaron Lim from Australia has won the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Seoul Main Event. The $2,500 buy-in tournament attracted a total of of 222 players and Lim collected approximately US$111,000 for his win.

Lim has now over $860,000 in live tournament earnings and his biggest tournament cash came last year, when he finished 3rd in the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event for $525,000.

The final table also featured Xuan Liu, who finished in 4th place for US$40,700. This isn't the first time Liu has come close to winning a major title. In 2011 she finished 3rd in EPT San Remo for $524,705 and 4th in the 2012 PCA  Main Event for $600,000.

Team Ivey Introduces Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler As Its Newest Pro

Phil Ivey's new training site IveyPoker.com unveiled yesterday quite a surprising signing, Allen Kessler, who was recently featured in the new "High Society" -episode.

Kessler has just shy of 30 WSOP cashes to his name and over $2.6m in total live earnings.

"The 'Chainsaw' is by no means a player to be taken lightly, and one can only have mercy for any poker players who find themselves in the unfortunate spot of being his opponent.", IveyPoker.com writes.
