The Garden City Group announced recently that US FTP funds will be repaid “based on players’ final balances on April 15, 2011.”, and that the process will begin shortly.

WSOP Europe adds Ladies event

The ladies event is a two day No Limit Hold'em tournament and it has a €1,000 + €100 buy-in. The event will start on Friday, October 11th and it is the first bracelet event of 2013 WSOPE.

“We first offered a Ladies event at the Vegas WSOP in 1977, and felt it was the right time to add this tradition to WSOPE. We need to do more to promote ladies involvement with the game, and with the many breakout stars in the region, it feels like a women’s European championship is long overdue,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart.

The 7th Annual WSOPE will be held from October 11 through October 25, 2013 in Enghien-les-Bains, France, in the suburbs of the world renowned French capital of Paris.

Last year WSOP Europe was held in Cannes, and it was Phil Hellmuth who took down the main event. After outlasting 420 players, Hellmuth took down $1,333,841 and his record 13th gold bracelet.
