Isildur1 Makes A Comeback

The rollercoaster continues to ride, as Isildur1 comes back from his latest mini downswing
Alex "IReadYrSoul" Millar is enjoying an epic run against Isildur1 at the NLHE tables, winning another $400k yesterday

It's been your typical rollercoaster week for Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, with upswings and downswings in the high six figures happening on a daily basis at the moment.

When we left you last, Isildur1 had gone up over a million dollars on Thursday before hitting a downswing towards the end of the evening, meaning that he ended Thursday up $784k, but started of Friday terribly, with his NLHE losses to IReadYrSoul and WCGRider putting him down $611k before the day had really begun.

After getting some rest, however, the mighty Swede was back for more, and was soon to almost wipe out his earlier losses.

He won back over half the money in his first games, a 1.5 hour heads-up session of $2k/$4k FLO8 against Kyle "KPR16" Ray, where he crushed the US pro for $320k.

He then moved onto the $500/$100 CAP PLO tables, taking on regular PLO foe, Ben "Bttech86" Tollerene, across three tables, in a short but sweet half hour session. Blom got off to a flier, quickly establishing a $250k lead as he won max pot after max pot. Credit to Tollerene though, as he fought back well in the final 15 minutes, to reduce the overall deficit to just $118k before it was time for Blom to move on.

Once again he pitted himself against NLHE superstar, Doug "WCGRider" Polk at four $500/$1000 CAP NLHE tables.

Isildur1 ended the day well, taking around $75k from Polk in sessions which began before midnight and lasted for around 1.5 hours.

In total, Blom ended the day down just $98.9k.

However, after a short break, the pair were back at it. For the remainder of the $500/$1000 sessions, Blom continued to stay in control, adding a further $34k to his winnings, and taking a six figure lead over Polk. The pair then graduated to the $400/$800 non-cap tables, and this is where Isildur1 came unstuck once again.

Isildur1 started off brightly enough, but was soon finding himself slippin, eventually ending up losing $456k in the non-cap match, meaning Polk had won a little under $350k against Blom.

In the end it was two, ill timed bluffs which cost Blom, the combined losses from just these pots totalling more than $386k:

Isildur1 jams his busted flush on the river, and is called by WCGRider who hold top pair - $306.6k pot

Another huge bluff on the river, this time with a busted straight draw is run straight into WCGRider's wired Aces - $467k pot

I was hoping to wait until Isildur1 stopped playing before commencing this report, although I fear it may never happen. Since that game ended, he has been playing 2-7 Triple Draw with Gus Hansen, and now ragen70, for the past five hours, and is currently over $200k up in that match. As it stands, although down today, Isildur1 is still up $400k since he resumed play last night. But for how much longer?

In other games, Denoking had yet another +$200k day at the $200/$400 NLHE tables against SanIker, and is now approaching $900k profit for the week.

ragen 70 enjoyed som good post midnight success at the $2k/$4k 2-7 TD tables, ending yesterday with a $176.9k win. In fact, ragen70 is also enjoying great success at the same tables today, currently up over $200k.

It was a bad day for Patrik "FinddaGrind" Antonius, who helped two other players make six figure scores. He lost a $132k match against cottonseed1 at FLO8 (cottonseed also enjoyed other success at FLO8, and even made a rare outing in the 8-game, and ended the day a $169.1k winner). Antonius also lost in the 8-game to punting-peddler, who ended his day a $135.4k winner.
