PostflopAction Wins $94k On A Slow Day At The Nosebleeds

PostflopAction was the only player to approach a six figure win yesterday with his $94k win over thecorster at the 2-7 TD tables

In between Christmas and New Year is always a quiet time for the high stakes games, especially if Isildur1 isn't in the middle of a multi-million dollar upswing, so yesterday's games were particularly slow.

The only match which produced a big winner was a two part match between PostflopAction and NLHE regular, thecorster at the $500/$1000 2-7 Triple Draw tables.

The match started at around 11am and the pair played over 400 hands over the course of the next three hours. The early advantage went to thecorster, who worked up a $50k lead during the first hour of play. The next hour saw PostflopAction grind away at his opponent's lead, winning back around $20k by the two hour mark.

The final hour of play was all about PostflopAction, and he won a little under $80k from thecorster, wiping out his opponent's lead and ending the session with a $44k profit of his own.

The pair met once again around three hours later for another 1.5 hour session. This time thecorster was not able to get ahead at all, as PostflopAction used the 205 hands to add a further $50k to his daily haul, ending up with a $93.9k win for the day.

There were no other big winners yesterday, with the number two spot on the daily leader board going to another Russian player, Vladimir "GVOZDIKA55" Shchemelev, who won $46.3k playing the $400/$800 mixed games over at PokerStars. His profit came from a 307 hand heads-up session against Crazy Elior.
