Everest Poker sign Sam Trickett as Brand Ambassador

Trickett sporting his new brand

iPoker top tier skin Everest Poker have today announced that Sam Trickett – Britain and Europe’s most successful live tournament poker player of all time – will be recruited as their new brand ambassador.

Trickett – who is widely renowned for his second place finish in the inaugural ‘Big One for One Drop’ tournament back in 2012 that saw him pocket a $10.1m pay day – will now be working alongside the Everest Poker team in London, helping them to ensure that Everest remains competitive in the global market.

His role will also include attending Everest Poker live events as a sponsored professional, starting this week at WPT Venice, along with providing a video blog from Las Vegas during this year’s WSOP – where he intends to auction off 10% of his action to Everest Poker’s player pool (other than for the return of the Big One for One Drop).

As well as his exceptional tournament prowess, Trickett is no push over at the cash game tables. He’s well known for mixing it up in Macau’s big game with the likes of Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan, where individual pots often creep into the millions.

His path from gas fitter, to injury prone footballer, to global poker phenomenon is an example to anyone with the dream of making it in poker and Everest are hopeful that he will serve as a role model for their loyal player base.

“I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker and I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker live events”, said Trickett. “Everest is a great poker brand and I will be doing everything I can to make it one of the most recognised in the world.”

Trickett can now be found playing on the Everest Poker client under the screen name ‘SamTrickett’.
