‘Mikey Casino’ wins 3rd partypoker NJ Sunday Major, Ivey’s ex-wife re-marries

Back in December we covered the story that live tournament grinder Mike Azzaro – who had at the time been in New Jersey to play the WSOP Circuit stop in Atlantic City – won the first two partypoker NJ Sunday majors back to back, and it hasn’t taken him long to grab hold of the limelight again.

The New York based rounder won his third partypoker NJ Sunday Major on Sunday, April 6th, just five months after his legendary back to back achievement in the same event.

His third win was also his biggest, with the field of 304 eclipsing the fields of 173 and 265 that he’d conquered previously and creating a top prize of over $11,000. His other two victories combined to a pay day of a little over $15,000.

It’s fair to say that last week was not the best for Phil Ivey; he’s both crashed to an almost seven figure loss playing online and had to watch his ex-wife and high school sweetheart Luciaetta get re-married.

According to a brief report by Bluff Magazine, Luciaetta, who reverted back to her maiden name of Roberts after her split with the people’s champ of poker, has been recently re-married to Chris Rich – a senior partner at Rich Ventures where his new wife had been working since early last year.

If Chris is as rich by nature as he is by name, then Luciaetta may not be too troubled by the fact that her reported monthly $180,000 payments from Ivey will now stop rolling in, while Ivey himself may be more relieved than begrudged by the news, considering that he’s dropped more than $3m playing online since changing his screen name to ‘Polarizing’ in 2012.
