Pool Party Interrupts Hansen's WSOP Debut, Samrostan's Rumored Big Win and more

Gus Hansen ready for his 2014 WSOP debut.

While most of the biggest names in poker have made their WSOP debuts already this year, Gus Hansen has had no time for tournaments, despite the fact that he has been in Las Vegas for two weeks.

Yesterday, Hansen let his followers on Twitter know, that he might be making his debut today in event #35, a $5,000 buy-in 8-handed No-Limit Hold'em tournament.

The Danish Full Tilt Pro was going to make his debut in fact already earlier, but a pool party on Friday unfortunately ruined his plans:

Samrostan's Rumored Big Win

As Doyle Brunson recently revealed, there is a big cash game running currently in Las Vegas. According to the rumors, the stakes have gone considerably up after Chun Lei Zhou aka. "samrostan" or "patpatman" arrived in town.

Mixed-games specialist Lee "Enon" Goldman told about the wild rumors recently (see post):

"Reason they playing that big is that Patpatman is in town. Rumors are that he has won somewhere in the range of 50-100M in Macau.

That he has won this amount in Macau. It's pretty well known that he is one if not the biggest winner out there. Heard other sources say a lot of the winnings from sports betting as well. Recent source is from someone in the 3k6k game who seemed pretty confident.", Goldman wrote.
