Final Table Set at Aussie Millions Main Event

Brian Rast is among the final seven players left in this year's Aussie Millions Main Event

WIth the fourth day of the Aussie Millions Main Event done and dusted, the final table of seven players has been reached, and they'll reconvene on Sunday to play for the $1.6m first place prize money.

The day started with 30 players left, all of whom had already made the money, with the bubble bursting at the 72 player mark on day 3. Big names to fall by the wayside on day 4 inlcluded; Mike "Timex" McDonald (30th), Tony Hachem (22nd) and defending champion Ami "UhhMee" Barer (11th). Also, it was the end of the road for the legendary Phil Ivey, who went out in 23rd place after getting it in good with top pair and the second nut flush draw on a 4h Qh 3h board. He was up against Aussie Anthony Legg's AhKd and unfortunately for Ivey the 9h turn sealed his fate and he hit the rail well short of the final table.

Two big name players who have made the cut, however, are two time WSOP Bracelet winner Brian "tsarrast" Rast, and Richard "nutsinho" Lyndaker, who has 13 WSOP cashes to his name, including a 2nd place in 2008's $5k NLHE event for over $570k.

However, both of these name players will have their work cut out to reach the top spot as they go into Sunday's final table as the short stacks, with Lyndaker's 1.2m slightly ahead of Rast's 1.185m. Out in front is the UK's James Rann who had an excellent final day as he rose from mid-table obscurity with 685k chips to over 4m at the close of play
