The 2015 Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event finished today after a local player Manny Stavropoulos took down the event for AU$1,385,000.

The first elimination of the final table was a dramatic one. Richard "nutsinho" Lyndaker got his stack all-in holding pocket aces. German player Lennart Uphoff called him with a pair of sixes and was able to spike a set on the flop sending Lyndaker home in sixth for AU$160,000.

The most notable player in the final table was undoubtedly WPT and WSOP winner Brian "tsarrast" Rast. However, Rast was unable to take down the title as he was eventually eliminated in fifth place for AU$315,000.

Once the tournament got down to heads-up, Manny Stavropoulos and Lennart Uphoff made a deal that secured AU$1,285,000 for Stavropoulos and AU$1,214,000 for Uploff. In addittion, AU$100,000 was left on the table to along with the gold bracelet.

Shortly after making the deal, Stavropoulos sealed the deal. According to Pokernews.com, Stavropoulos is a well-known player at Crown Melbourne often found at the $5/$10 no-limit hold'em cash game tables.
