HoldemJill9 Wins Six-Figures in 8-Game against Polarizing

A good comeback from HoldemJill9 in his ongoing 8-Game battle with Phil "Polarizing" Ivey

After losing $148k to Phil "Polarizing" Ivey on Wednesday, HoldemJill9 took revenge yesterday, winning $118.8k back from four hours play at Full Tilt's $1500/$3000 8-Game tables.

It looked like Polarizing was on for another winning session as he held the lead for the first three and a half hours of the match, although his lead never got much beyond the $50k mark. The pair started play at around 5.30pm, taking a half hour break a little before the three hour mark, at which point Polarizing still held a marginal $14k lead. After the half hour break, play resumed and in just 37 minutes, HoldemJill9 took $133.7k from his opponent, ending the match up $118.8k.

There were no other six-figure winners at the nosebleeds yesterday. Second on the daily leaderboard was Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby as he won $71.4k playing $1k/$2k 2-7 Triple Draw heads-up against Viktor "Isildur1" Blom. The pair played for 2.5 hours in what was a largely even match, exchanging $30k-$40k leads. As in the HoldemJill9 vs Polarizing match, it was only during the last half an hour that one player took control of the match. The match finished at a little past 7pm with thecortster in the driving seat.

The biggest winner over at PokerStars was kabydf who won $51.2k at the $50/$100 NLHE tables after a two table 2.5 hour session against ForTheSwaRMm.
