Phil Ivey & Trueteller Still Going Strong after 26 Hours

We have no idea if there is either some major crossbooking, or a "last longer" prop-bet of some magnitude, but Russian pro Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov and Phil "RaiseOnce" Ivey have been involved in multiple double digit 8-Game sessions over the past couple of weeks. Their current session has lasted an astonishing 26 hours, and is still ongoing!

The pair met at just past 5.30am server time on the 9th November and at the time of writing (12.15 on 10th November), are still going strong at table Reseda II.

It has been very much a game of two halves, with Trueteller reaching a peak of c.+$320k after 14 hours of play, with Ivey fighting back well over the next 9 hours to come within less than $30k of breaking even. Trueteller is currently $70k up from over 4,000 hands played.

Ivey's comeback was helped along the way after he took down this huge cooler in the $100/$200 PLO round:

Trueteller flops trip 7's and fills up with 7's full of 10's on the turn, only to discover that RaiseOnce is sitting with pocket 10's in the hole to trump his opponent with a cruel boat-over-boat to take this $262.5k pot

In other high stakes news, Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky won $120.8k at PokerStars yesterday, mainly from the $100/$200 PLO ring games where he played alongside the likes of Ilari FIN, WRUUUUM, Lrslzk, MrSweets28, bustoville, and BiggetsFish.

We'll keep you posted with more RaiseOnce vs Trueteller news as it happens.
