Another $238k for Educa-p0ker - up over $1,000,000 in January

For the third consecutive day, Spanish NLHE phenom Andres "Educa-p0ker" Artinano topped the highstakes daily leaderboard with a $238k win, putting his three day total winnings up over $700k, and his winnings for January over the $1m mark.

Once again his winnings came at PokerStars $200/$400 NLHE tables, and once again he won them playing against Timfoey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov and Alex "Kanu7" Millar.

The trio played from midday for three hours with Educa-p0ker leading from the off. He consistently won for the first 80 minutes, hurtling to a $180k profit, with the majority of his winnings coming from Trueteller. However, within 25 minutes later Trueteller had got back to even, mainly at the expense of Educa-p0ker, and mostly after winning the biggest pot of the month:

Trueteller flops nothing but a gutshot but c-bets anyway. He improves to a flush draw on the turn and continues to fire out, with Educa-p0ker calling for a second time. The river completes the flush and Trueteller jams for over $100k. Unfortunately for Educa-p0ker the river also makes his straight and he calls off his last $90k as this $236.4k pot ships to Trueteller.

It wasn't long, however, until Educa-p0ker took down the second biggest pot of the month as Trueteller went a little wild with his third pair, shoving on the turn, only to run into Educa-p0ker's pocket Aces - $212.8k pot

With Educa-p0ker back on the up, he continued his upswing until the end of the match, ending with his $236.5k profit, and both Kanu7 and Trueteller on the end of six-figure losses.

Neither Kanu or Trueteller were the biggest losers of the day, however, as a big match at between Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky and Alex "BiatchPeople" Luneau took place at the $500/$1000 2-7 TD tables around the same time as the big NLHE game. In total, Sauce123 on $168.6k from the 621 hands the pair played. The match was even for the first of the three hours, but Sauce ran away with the match over the next two hours.

There were no other six-figure winners yesterday, with donthnrmepls coming in third after winning $88.1k from Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby in an early hours match at the $1k/$2k 2-7 TD tables.
