WCOOP: Several Big Names Remain in Hunt for $21,000 PLO High Roller Title

World Championship of Online Poker's first ever $21,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha 6-max event kicked off yesterday as part of the ongoing tournament festival on PokerStars.

After the first day of play, final 14 players remain in the event. A total of 64 players registered and after 29 re-entries, the $500,000 guarantee was easily topped with the final prize pool showing just over $1,9 million.

Several well-known players like Jason Mercier, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Sami "LrsLzk" Kelopuro and Scott "gunning4you" Seiver fired up two bullets, but failed to reach Day 2, which gets underway later today.

Only the top 9 players will receive money. Min-cash is worth just over $96,000 while the eventual winner will be taking home over $462,000 if no deals are made during the final.

The final 14 players features plenty of nosebleed cash regulars, like Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond and Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen, who won the first ever $25,000 PLO High Roller this year at the World Series of Poker:
