There are actually more tournaments than millions on the SCOOP schedule, with the first of 102 tournaments at each of three different buy-in levels due to kick off on April 4th, making 306 events in total, with the online series running until April 28th,

Last year $135million was handed out in prizemoney during the 2020 SCOOP, the timing coinciding with many live tournaments being off the schedule. This year could well prove to be similarly successful from a SCOOP point of view, and with buy-ins starting from as little as $2.20 it caters for all bankrolls.

Severin Rasset, Stars’ Managing Director, said of the 2021 festival: “SCOOP is a series that our community really look forward to and plan for, so we’re excited to share the full schedule, a huge guarantee, and all of the promotions and giveaways we are holding to reward our players.”

Rasset added: “We’ve ensured that players of all levels have a way into this well-loved series and have added lots of extra value and more ways to win."

$1.5million SCOOP Ticket Machine

Among those giveaways and extra value will be the SCOOP Ticket Machine, which will see $1.5million in SCOOP tournament tickets handed out for free – and it’s already started!

SCOOP Spin&Go and FastTrack

There is also the Spin&Go approach to bagging seats in the SCOOP proper, with $4 and $22 tournaments offering up tickets, while the SCOOP Fastrack could see you grab a Main Event seat for as little as $1.

Women’s Sunday

Women’s poker has been hitting the headlines recently, and PokerStars have included a Women’s Sunday event, the $22 buy-in tournament featuring among the prizes a $530 SCOOP ticket up top.

Free Fridays

Sundays may well be busy, but Fridays are a rest day of sorts, Rasset explaining: “..to give players a break from a busy online series schedule and for those competing in the SCOOP Player of the Series race, we will not run official SCOOP events on Fridays.”

The final Sunday of the 2021 SCOOP series will feature six separate Main Events, with the 8-max Low, Mid and High MEs as below.

  • $5,000,000 GTD – $10,300 NLHE Main Event High
  • $5,000,000 GTD – $1,050 NLHE Main Event Medium
  • $3,000,000 GTD – $109 NLHE Main Event Low

In addition, there are three 6-max PLO biggies that day…

  • $1,250,000 GTD – $10,300 PLO Main Event High
  • $750,000 GTD – $1,050 PLO Main Event Medium
  • $350,000 GTD – $109 PLO Main Event Low

Tl;dr

  • Runs April 4th to April 28th
  • 102 events at high, mid and low buy-ins
  • $100million GTD
  • 6 Main Events on April 25th with over $15million GTD

It’s the biggest set of guarantees ever offered by the red spade site, and you can grab a chunk of that $100million by checking out what’s on offer for SCOOP 2021 here.
