English pro Charlie Carrel had a great EPT in Prague earlier this month, cashing for almost €800,000, including €535,250 for his runner-up place in the €50k Super High Roller, and €159,545 for finishing 3rd in the €10k High Roller. However, after recent rants on his twitter and facebook pages it appears that Carrel isn't enjoying as much luck trying to extricate his cash from his PokerStars Live account (PokerStars owned the EPT) in order to pay his backers.
Carrel first expressed his frustration on Christmas Eve, tweeting;
Having obviously stewed on his lack of response over his turkey and Christmas pudding yesterday Carrel was back on facebook today letting off some more steam regarding the length of time his 400k (no currency denoted) transfer from his PS Live account is taking;

Among the replies Carrel received from his followers was one from fellow poker pro, Kitty Kuo, who echoed Carrel's sentiments, saying, "They didn't credit me the winning too, that was a week ago". Kuo cashed for almost €13,000 at the EPT Prague festival.
Whether or not his social media pleas have been heeded we can't say, but in the past half an hour Carrel updated his facebook thread to say he had received a reply for Stars (although not the money).

Doesn't sound entirely promising just yet so we'll keep our fingers crossed for you Charlie!

Another example of PokerStars screwing with their best customers (Elite Full Time Players such as Charlie and Kuo). Hopefully, they will ring in the New Year with their winnings in their bank account.
