The announcement this week also revealed that there would be another WSOP Online series in the summer beginning Thursday, July 1st, with the WSOP Europe announced for King’s Casino in Rozvadov from Friday, November 19th through Tuesday, December 8th.

For the live Vegas version, only a select few dates have been released for events, but the biggie – the $10k buy-in Main Event – is pencilled in to begin on November 4th.

There will be four starting day 1 flights, Thursday 4th through Sunday 7th, followed by two day 2s on the Monday and Tuesday, with the remaining players combining on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

The destination of the ultimate prize in poker will be decided on Wednesday, November 17th.

Announcing the plans, WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said in a press release: “This year, more than ever, we embrace our role at the WSOP to deliver memorable experiences and bring this community of poker lovers back together."

Stewart added: “In 2021, the theme is, get vaccinated and get back to Vegas.”

The opening weekend of the 2021 live WSOP is expected to feature a special charity event to benefit frontline health workers, who have borne the brunt of the coronavirus pandemic.

There will also be a  $25k H.O.R.S.E. event and a $5 million GTD NLHE event billed as “The Reunion on that first weekend, with further details and specifics on the complete schedule to be released after all events have been determined and approved by regulators.”

WSOP Online 2021

Last year the WSOP went online along with thousands of other poker tournaments and this week’s announcement states that a domestic version will kick off on Thursday, July 1st on the WSOP.com All-American Poker Network.

The full schedule with complete information will be released on April 15th, with plans for the international segment – played last year on the GGPoker Network – to be revealed “shortly thereafter” according to the WSOP’s press release.

WSOP Europe 2021

The final piece of this year’s WSOP puzzle, the WSOP Europe, is heading to Leon Tsoukernik’s King’s Casino in Rozvadov once again, slated for Friday, November 19th to Tuesday, December 8th, although this is “subject to regulatory approval.”

Stewart stated: “We hope and anticipate travel restrictions will ease by the fall,” adding: “It’s important to us that we have an excellent tournament schedule available to our European players.”

The plan is to run 15 gold bracelet events, including a €10k buy-in WSOP Europe Main Event, as well as a €50k euro High Roller event.

The WSOP added: “The ability to hold a live, in-person event will be subject to the state of the public health emergency due to COVID-19 and all applicable health, safety, and regulatory approvals, guidelines, and restrictions.”
