Trueteller Earns Back to Back Six-Figure Scores
For the second day in succession, Russian pro Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov managed to end the day with a six-figure profit, topping yesterday's high stakes leaderboard with a $130.2k profit. This latest win puts Trueteller up $1m since the last week of October.
Once again Trueteller's profit came from the NLHE and PLO tables where he played for six-hours early yesterday morning, and once again his priofit was almost a 50/50 split between the two games.
Trueteller won $68k playing heads-up $100/$200 PLO against Dani "supernova9" Stern after a 3hr 40 minute post-midnight session. Trueteller got off to a great start, going up close to $60k in the first half an hour of play, only for Stern to even things up within the hour. It was the Russian who had the last laugh in the end as he ground down his opponent for thr remainder of the match to leave with his near $70k profit.
The remainder of Trueteller's profit came the $100/$200 NLHE 6max games which ran throughout the morning where he played against OtB_RedBaron, OBORRA, fish2013, and honeybee088.
The biggest winner of the NLHE games yesterday was probirs who won $118.9k from a single three hour session of $200/$400 NLHE where he played against Bill "GASTRADER" Perkins, mexican222, Katya_18, Scarface.VLT, and Phil "takechip" D'Auteuil.
Over half of probirs profit came from winning the biggest pot of the day after a heads-up hand against Perkins.
Holding Ah Js Perkins flops the nut-flush draw on a 9h 8d 3h board and decided to make a big raise all in after probirs bets the flop. The call is made and probirs turns over pocket Queens. The 7d turn gives GASTRADER a gutshot straight draw to go with his flush draw, but the 3s river sends this $127.2k pot sliding over to probirs.
Cobus83 was yesterday's third biggest winner, ending the day up $37.8k after wins at both the $50/$100 and $100/$200 PLO tables, and in fourth position we find RaulGonzales who won $32.5k after wins at the $400/$800 8-Game and $300/$600 FLO8 tables - the FLO8 tables seeing some decent action due to the return of none other than Gus "broksi" Hansen, who ended up losing $36.5k from his four hours at the $300/$600 FLO & 2-7 Triple Draw tables.
