Colman and McDonald Headline PSC Bahamas Main Event Day 2

Written by Teemu - Wednesday, January 11, 2017, Live poker

Day 2 is done at the 2017 PokerStars Championship Bahamas $5,000 buy-in Main Event and US pro Nick Maimone is leading the final 125 players who will return today for Day 3 action.

Maimone finished the night with 689,000 and he is closely trailed by Dan "mrGR33N13" Colman, who managed to river quads against Christoph "Tight-Man1" Vogelsang's aces-full to end the night with 620,000. Colman was also responsible for sending Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul to the rail, who can now enjoy another glass of whiskey by the pool:

In addition to Paul, players like 2016 GPI POY David Peters, William Kassouf, Isaac Haxton,  Mustapha Kanit, Daniel Negreanu and EPT winner Noah "Exclusive" Boeken (who bubbled the Main Event this year), were all eliminated from the PSC Bahamas Main Event during Day 2 action.

The PSC Bahamas Main Event attracted a total of 738 players and the first place is worth $480,012 while a min cash is worth $7,260. 2016's PCA Main Event attracted a total of 928 players, so the attendance went down quite a bit from last year.

Some other notable players with big stacks heading into Day 3 include Mike McDonald (436,000), Cliff Josephy (242,500), Jason Mercier (281,000) and Barry Greenstein (95,000).
