Brian Rast Discusses Winning $3m Pot at ARIA
Brian "tsarrast" Rast has made almost $20 million on the live tournament circuit, but in addition to that he is a regular in some of the toughest high-stakes cash games in the world.
Rast, who has won the $50,000 WSOP Poker Players Championship twice and the inaugural Super High Roller Bowl in 2015 for $7,5 million, reveals in a recent Poker Stories Podcast with Cardplayer, how he won a $3 million pot playing against a Chinese player, whose name he won't reveal.
The massive pot had occured in a $2,000/$4,000 No-Limit Hold'em game at ARIA casino in Las Vegas after Rast was dealt pocket kings in the big blind. The mysterious player from China had failed to hit his open-ended straight draw and mucked his hand.
