While Phil Hellmuth has been busy finishing his autobiography, New York Time's best selling author Maria Konnikova has also been working on a new poker book.
While the exact release date has not been announced yet, Konnikova released some interesting details about her upcoming poker book on Twitter last week.
According to Konnikova, her new book will be about "her yearlong immersion in the high-stakes world of professional poker". Apparently, Konnikova had followed around the 8-time WSOP bracelet winner Erik Seidel for a year to get material for her book.
Konnikova, who was born in Russia but lives in the United States now, is the New York Times-bestselling author of The Confidence Game (Viking/Penguin 2016) and Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes (Viking/Penguin, 2013).
Seidel is currently second on the all-time tournament money list with over $31,5 million in total live tournament earnings and he still continues to travel around the world to play the biggest buy-in tournaments.
