Gus Hansen Back in Live Action at "Celebrity Cash Kings" at WSOPC Prague

Gus Hansen let slip during an interview he gave while spectating the €1m buy-in One Drop event last November in Monte Carlo (Gus's home town) that he was looking forward to getting back to the tables after a couple of years hiatus, and we have seen him play very occasionally as "broksi" on PokerStars this year. His first major exposure back at the felt, however, will take place this weekend as "The Great Dane" has been confirmed as one of the players in Sunday's Celebrity Cash Kings game at the King's Casino, Rozvadov during the WSOP Circuit stop in Prague.

Hansen's hiatus was no doubt prompted by his huge downswing at Full Tilt Poker during his 2nd stint as a sponsored pro where he lost $17m in the high stakes games in just two years. He'll be hoping to do a little better this time around and will be playing NLHE with the stakes to be decided by the players, with a minimum of $50/$100 blinds.

Playing alongside Gus will be poker player turned businessman turned politician recently banned from Russia, MEP Antanas Guoga, more commonly known as Tony G, WSOP bracelet winners Jesper "KipsterDK" Hougaard,  Jan Peter Jachtmann, and Theo Jorgensen, online phenom and EPT winner Ronny "1-ronnyr3" Kaiser, Kings Casino owner and recent EPT Super High Roller champ Leon Tsoukernik, Niki "RealAndyBeal" Jedlicka and Europe's second biggest live tourney money winner, Sam "tr1cky7" Trickett.

Although this will be Gus's first live game in a while to receive media exposure, he has already played some live poker this year with one of his Celeb Cash Game opponents, as he describes in his last facebook post from February 10th this year:

The Celebrity Cash Game will run from 5.30pm Sunday to Tuesday and will be streamed on a 30 minute delay on the casino's twitch stream at
