After a great 2017 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) run, including three final tables already, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is now leading the overall 2017 SCOOP Player of the Series race.

Blom finished 7th in the $10,300 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller event yesterday for over $48,000 and his 27th cash in the 2017 series so far. That deep run allowed him to take the lead in the 2017 SCOOP Player of the Series race as well, where the winner will get a trophy + $20,000 in cash (not to forget the bragging rights).

2017 SCOOP Leader Board

Place Player Points
1 Viktor "Isildur1" Blom 660
2 Naza114 650
3 MITS 304 595
4 bedias 580
5 Cal "cal42688" Anderson 520

However, Blom could do better, moneywise. The Swedish online poker legend has made most of his cashes in Low or Medium buy-in events and can't be found from the 2017 SCOOP Top 50 earners list.

That might change quickly, though, as the biggest events like the $5 million guaranteed SCOOP Main Event will get underway during the weekend.
