US pro Nick Schulman recently took down the $50,000 buy-in Super High Roller Event at Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in South Florida for $440,000.

The former Full Tilt Poker pro first broke out on the live tournament scene in 2005 when he won a World Poker Tour event held at Mashantucket, Connecticut for $2,1 million. Since then, Schulman has continued to make good results on the live tournament circuit and his total live tournament winnings are now already over $9 million.

-Nick Schulman has now over $9 million in total live tournament cashes.

Only 19 players took part in the $50,000 buy-in Super High Roller event, including the likes of Isaac Haxton, Dan Colman, Josh Arieh and Jason Koon. The low turnout meant only the best four players received money:  Ivan Luva (4th, $120,000), Rainer Kempe (3rd, $180,000), Jake Schindler (2nd, $260,000) and Nick Schulman (1st, $440,000).

According to the live-updates, in the final hand of the heads-up play Schulman had {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} against Jake Schindler's {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, when they were all-in preflop and Schulman paired his ace to take down the title.
