Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky Wins $110,744 At 8-Game

Yesterdday's biggest winner at PokerStars high stakes tables was Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky who bagged a $110,744 win at PokerStars $1k/$2k 8-Game tables playing heads-up against Russian pro Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov.

The pair played for an hour and eighteen minutes late yesterday afternoon and it was pretty much one-way traffic for the duration of the match as Sauce had much the better of the action on his way to his first six-figure win of the year. There was a small comeback on the cards at one stage as Trueteller battled back from $90k down to c.$65k, but he couldn't turn the tide, and a surge during the last 20 minutes enabled Sulsky to regain that lost $35k and add a further $20k to his overall profit.

This latest win enabled Sauce to take his overall tracked high stakes profits at PokerStars up to $5.254m, just $35k short of Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen as the biggest ever high stakes winner at the site.

Second on yesterday's high stakes leaderboard was GiveMeUp who ended the day with a $51,124 profit from the $50/$100 NLHE 6max tables where he played 765 hands across three tables played simultaneously across three hours and forty minutes of play in the early hours of yesterday morning. GiveMeUp played alongside the likes of moshmachine, antoha1998, svansa, and Maahone.

In third place we find ActionFreak who won $37,948 playing at the $25/$50 and $50/$100 PLO tables from late morning to mid-afternoon, putting in 711 hands against the likes of Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, Trueteller, Grazvis1, Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas, and Sean "Nolez7" Winter. Yesterday's 4th biggest winner also came from the PLO tables as omaha4rollz earned $37,766 from the 1,214 hands he put in across the day at the $25/$50, $50/$100 and $100/$200 tables, although like ActionFreak most of his profit came from the early afternoon $50/$100 games.

The biggest pot of the day actually played out between the third and fourth biggest winners of the day during a short-handed stint at $50/$100 PLO table Laomedon III:

All the money goes in on the flop which brought omaha4rollz the nut-flush draw with an inside-straight draw while ActionFreak has the second nut-flush draw and an overpair (kings). The draws miss and ActionFreak's pair of Kings enables him to take this $41.8k pot
