RaulGonzales Tuesday's Biggest Winner after $1k/$2k 8-Game Success

Once again the biggest winner in PokerStars high stakes cash games yesterday came from the $1k/$2k 8-Game tables, and it was German pro RaulGonzales who topped the list with a $49,955 profit.

RaulGonzales was only actually at the tables for a total of 13 minutes yesterday, taking his $50k win from a brief 29 hand late afternoon heads-up session against UK pro Elior "Crazy Elior" Sion.

This was the second unsuccessful outing at the $1k/$2k tables for Crazy Elior yesterday as a few hours earlier he had dropped another $57k playing at the same table both heads-up against Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, and three-handed alongside Sauce123 and Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn.

Crazy Elior's day could have been even worse had he not taken down the day's biggest pot;

Crazy Elior can't believe his luck when Sauce123 shoves the turn just as the UK pro had made top full house to scoop this $40.5k pot

In fact Sauce123 ended up as the day's second biggest winner from the $35,832 he won from his166 hands during the 95 minute early afternoon session.

In third place Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane continued his good run of form after booking a $26,642 profit after almost 1.5k hands played at the $25/$50 and $50/$100 6max tables from late morning to mid-afternoon. Cochrane is now up over $1/4m this year and is the biggest winner so far at PokerStars high stakes tables.

Yesterday's top four was completed by Russian pro Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn who earned $21,487 from his brief 38 hand stint at the aforementioned $1k/$2k 8-Game session with Sauce123 and Crazy Elior.
