Phil Hellmuth Joins YouStake as Ambassador & Advisor

YouStake, the fully integrated sports crowdfunding platform have unveiled Phil Hellmuth as their latest 'Ambassador'. The Poker Brat has also been hired on an advisorial basis, where, according to Medium, he will focus on business expansion, which includes blockchain development, potential Initial Coin Offering (ICO), and sports segment expansion.

YouStake offer an online marketplace for player crowdfunding & staking with the technology platform allowing backers to invest in player entry fees. Hellmuth will be listing a variety of upcoming tournaments on YouStake, allowing fans and punters to buy pieces of his action.

His first listed tourney which went live on 15th February was for 60% of his action in the upcoming $10,000 buy-in WPT L.A. Poker Classic. Despite being priced with an eye-watering 1.5 mark-up Hellmuth's $6,000 of available action was snapped up by 72 online investors in just one day.

According to Frank DeGeorge, YouStake's CEO, and co-founder, Hellmuth will also be selling pieces of some of his 2018 WSOP campaign. DeGeorge welcomed Hellmuth to the fold saying;

Phil Hellmuth is our newest team member and we are excited to have him on board. Since launching in 2015 YouStake have attracted 6.5k users and processed over $8m in poker backing action. Some of the bigger names to have sold pieces on YouStake include Hall of Famer Todd Bruson, former WSOP Main Event champions Greg Raymer and Jamie Gold, former WSOP Player of the Year Anthony Zinno, and 3 time WSOP bracelet winner Dutch Boyd.

Hellmuth seemed excited to take up his new role saying;
