Justin Bonomo Wins 2018 Super High Roller Bowl China for $4,820,299

The first-ever Super High Roller Bowl China finished earlier today after Justin Bonomo took down the tournament for US$4,820,299.

Bonomo started the final table with a big chip lead over Patrik Antonius, who was second in chips. The two players found themselves eventually heads-up for the title despite the fact the final table also featured players like Dominik Nitsche and 2016 Super High Roller Bowl (US edition) winner Rainer Kempe.

While there was no live-reporting available for this massive tournament, the final hand was shown via Chinese live stream. In the last hand of the tournament, Bonomo raised to 1.5 million with the and Antonius three-bet to 5.5 million holding the . Bonomo called.

The flop came , giving Bonomo a flush and Antonius second pair. Both players checked the flop. After the turn came , Antonius called Bonomo's bet of 4.5 million and completed his straight when the river came down the . Antonius then bet out 17 million to which Bonomo raised all-in.

Antonius eventually called and Bonomo had the Finnish poker legend covered and crushed. Bonomo earned a whopping $4,820,299 for his win. After losing the heads-up battle, Antonius took to Twitter to thank his fans and said he was overall happy about his performance as this was his biggest ever live tournament cash ($3,151,734).
