Lrslzk Fights Back from Six-Figure Deficit to Beat Viktor "Isildur1" at PLO

A highly entertaining high stakes heads-up PLO match took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning between two Scandinavian poker legends as Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro took on Viktor "Isildur1" Blom at the $100/$200 and $200/$400 PLO tables.

The pair actually kicked off their 5.5hr match late on Monday evening at the $100/$200 PLO tables with Lrslzk getting the better of their initial encounters, taking a $39k advantage as the games moved over into Tuesday. For the next three and a half hours, however, it was Isildur1 who was making all the right moves, and by the time the pair had wrapped up their $100/$200 endeavours, the Swedish pro had taken approximately a $130k lead in the match.

Things were looking pretty good for Isildur1 towards the end of the session. It took less than 20 minutes, however, for all that to change once the two players moved up to the $200/$400 tables. They played at three tables simultaneously with Lrslzk winning substantially at all three (+$44,942, +$82,873, and $40,307), meaning that not only was the Finnish pro able to overcome a six-figure deficit, but he actually ended as the day's biggest winner with a total profit of $49,278. Lrslzk also won the day's biggest pot during his 20 minute demolition job at the $200/$400 tables.

Isildur1 flops two pairs and makes a standard c-bet, only for Lrslzk to put in a huge check-raise with nothing but a single card straight draw. Fortuitously for Lrslzk a three on the turn makes him an unlikely set and he is able to take down this $80.8k pot
