The 2018 European Poker Tour Monte Carlo is underway with the €100,000 buy-in Super High Roller event.

The tournament started with a single-entry format, but after some players with extra €100k's burning in their pockets wanted to rebuy more than once, PokerStars changed it to a unlimited rebuy event.

Some players who have already bought in for more than once, include Patrik Antonius, Isaac Haxton, Daniel Dvoress, Erik Seidel, Jean-Noel Thorel, and Manouchehr Ahadpour. At the moment 22 players remain from the total number of 44 entries that have been made so far.

Leading the way after Day 1 action is high-stakes pro Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski, who ended the night with 1,381,000 in chips. Second in chips is Isaac Haxton (1,033,000), who has already invested €300,000 in this tournament (original buy-in + two rebuys). See all Day 1 chip counts from below.

Earlier winners of the €100,000 EPT Monte Carlo Super High Roller include Justin Bonomo, Max Altergott, Dan Colman, Erik Seidel, Ole Schemion and Bryn Kenney.
