Global Poker Rattlesnake Open Leaderboard Title Won By “BUYMEDINNER"

The Rattlesnake Open concluded last Sunday at Global Poker and a new leaderboard champ was crowned. On the strength of 15 in-the-money finishes over the course of the festival, BUYMEDINNER claimed the title and the accompanying leaderboard prize worth $5,000.

That means that “BUYMEDINNER" will represent Global Poker at a live poker tournament of his choosing. With the 2018 WSOP set to kick off in a matter of days, the word on the street is that “BUYMEDINNER" will be shooting for a WSOP gold bracelet with his Global Poker Championships Rattlesnake Open Leaderboard winnings.

The $5K package includes a tournament buy-in, travel expenses, and hotel accommodations. “BUYMEDINNER" is a Florida native whose last cash in a major live poker tournament came in 2016 when he finished in 2nd place at the Winter Poker Open in Tampa.

The Pressure To Cash Is On

With that type of experience under his belt, “BUYMEDINNER" will aim to continue the streak started by the other two players who have won Global Poker leaderboard titles at the Eagle Cup and Grizzly Games festivals - to finish in the money in the live tournament while representing Global Poker, the world's fastest growing online poker room.

It appears that “BUYMEDINNER" is an excellent candidate to keep the tradition alive. Landing at five final tables during the Rattlesnake Open was certainly a valuable tune-up for his upcoming live tournament entry. One of those five final table appearances included a championship trophy in the SC$2,500 Guaranteed 6-Max Turbo event.

Global Poker will reveal the live event that “BUYMEDINNER” chooses so that poker fans can follow the action. He has some pretty big shoes to fill, but “BUYMEDINNER” seems up to the task!
