Vegas has a lot to offer in the summer, of course, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy ride, even for the best players, Joseph stating of his win: "This really was the summer saver and got me even".

Cheong, who along with Luke ‘Full_Flush’ Schwartz and Cole South are the pro faces of HighStakes.com, has over $12.5million in live earnings, including a $1million+ victory at the Manila Millions in 2013 and his incredible $4million+ 3rd spot in the 2010 Main Event.

Joseph’s story is an interesting one, his family moving to the USA from South Korea when he was just 6 years old, Cheong later going on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Joint BA degree in Maths and Economics from UC San Diego – all subjects which have proved very useful in his poker career.

His Vegas summer may be ending on a high note, with his pocket aces holding up for the title victory at the DCPS, but the HighStakes.com maestro did lose one costly flip it appears…
