Star-Studded Final Table Set to Battle for £1Million at partypoker MILLIONS UK

The partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event will see nine players return today to battle it out for the £1 million first prize, 2013 WSOP Main Event champ Ryan Riess among the chasing pack, which sees Greek pro Ioannis Angelou-Konstas take a commanding chip lead into the final table…

It took 10 hours to whittle the 64 day four hopefuls down to a single table, partypoker pros Kristen Bicknell and Patrick Leonard running deep but unable to last the pace, defending champion Maria Lampropoulos also putting up an excellent fight in her defence of the title.

Those who did make the grade, however, include this year’s 9th place finisher in the WSOP Main Event, Antoine Labat, as well as Bicknell’s other half Alex Foxen, with Ireland’s Dara O’Kearney receiving ‘huge encouragement’ for his upcoming £1million chase - £50k already in the bag, not that you’d know it from this reply!

The English trio of Sam Grafton, Tom Hall and John Haigh will all have eyes on keeping the MILLIONS UK trophy on home soil, but it won’t be easy with such a wealth of experience facing them this evening.

Unoffical Final Table

1 Sam Grafton 99,400,000
2 Tom Hall 60,400,000
3 Michael Wang 144,600,000
4 Antoine Labat 144,500,000
5 Alex Foxen 159,500,000
6 Ioannis Angelou-Konstas 242,600,000
7 Ryan Riess 41,100,000
8 Dara O'Kearney 22,000,000
9 John Haigh 96,700,000
