Hansen, however, has never ever shied away from a challenge – but as one of his Instagram followers noted, ‘Love you Gus but your table selection needs some work’!

Online, of course, Daniel ‘Jungleman12’ Cates is a massive winner – more than $10million profit on show, putting him 3rd in the all-time nosebleed online cash game winners list.

Hansen, however, is at the other end of the scalehis losses totalling a phenomenal $20million+, although he clearly must be doing much better in live play to remain among the big boys of the game in Vegas where stakes are so high.

Whether his mano-a-mano with Jungleman saw him come out a winner or not isn’t clear, but Hansen’s ‘Great Fall’ will likely continue regardless – poker not the only thing he has a taste for!
