The title was Peters' sixth High Roller championship and fifth seven-figure score in 2018. He has now cashed for $9,035,013 this year and bumped his lifetime winnings up to $27,815,923, good for 6th place all time right behind the $28,925,059 in cashes recorded by Daniel Colman.

It wasn't Peters' only cash at the Aria Fall Madness that ran from Oct. 30 thru Nov. 6. He finished 3rd and won $200,000 in the $50K High Roller among 25 entries, bowing to Austria's Matthias Eibinger ($575,000) and runner-up Sam Soverel ($350,000).

Soverel was another player who had a fantastic series at the Aria, adding two Short Deck titles to that 2nd place finish. The Florida native won a combined $183,600 in the Six Plus Hold'em contests, bringing his career earnings to $7,310,781, per the Hendon Mob database.

Anthony Alberto ($128,800), Jared Jaffee ($132,000), and Stephen Chidwick ($283,500) also notched victories during the festival, the latter scooping his title in a $25K event.
