Ike Haxton Leads SHRB Final Table as Negreanu Falls Short

Isaac Haxton leads the final table of seven in the Super High Roller Bowl after a long day of highstakes action saw the 27 hopefuls who survived day one cut down to those who would cash – and with $3.672 million up top it’s a lot of money on the line…

The $300,000 buy-in tournament has attracted most of the world’s best players, and among them is Stephen Chidwick – the Englishman responsible for eliminating Daniel Negreanu in 9th and then Mikita Badziakouski in 8th to burst the money bubble.

Both Phil Hellmuth and Daniel ‘Jungleman’ Cates had deep runs, though falling just short, while Jason Koon’s tournament was cut short by Talal ‘Raidalot’ Shakerchi – the only non-pro to grace the final table, but a very experienced player in his own right.

Ali Imsirovic will be looking to add the SHRB trophy to his Poker Masters title from earlier this year…

…while Alex Foxen will be looking to cement his rapid rise to the top echelons of the highstakes game.

Final table chip counts

1 Isaac Haxton 2,415,000
2 Stephen Chidwick 2,405,000
3 Alex Foxen 1,590,000
4 Igor Kurganov 1,550,000
5 Talal Shakerchi 995,000
6 Adrian Mateos 975,000
