Manig Loeser Closes Out Stellar December with Monster Stack Victory

Winning streaks do not follow the calendar year – or at least that’s what Manig Loeser will be hoping after his double scoop in December, the latter win a New Year’s Eve $74,323 payout for victory in the $400 buy-in Venetian Casino Monster Stack event…

Topping a field of 1250 entries at the DeepStack Extravaganza V in Las Vegas, German highstakes pro Loeser brought his December winnings to almost $½ million, a modest 2nd spot payout of £17,300 ($22,078) at the 888LIVE SHR in London followed by a $321,300 victory at the Bellagio.

That WPT win at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic held at the Bellagio saw him fight off a star-studded final table, Nick Petrangelo, Cary Katz, Dan Smith and Jake Schindler all put to the sword before Loeser defeated Elio Fox heads-up for the title.

His New Year’s Eve final table was a little less top-heavy, but with two-time WSOP bracelet winner Eric Baldwin in there, as well as Eric Worre. Worre is the man behind Network Marketing and the international best-selling book ‘Go Pro - 7 Steps to Becoming a Network Marketing Professional’.

In the end it was Worre and Loeser who would battle heads-up for the trophy, the german wining out and ending 2018 with another big win – bringing his lifetime tournament cashes to just over $8.7million – good for 91st spot on the all-time list.

Final Table Results

1 Manig Loeser $74,323
