Justin Bonomo Wins PokerStars $5,200 NLHE 8-Max High Roller Turbo for $192,427

Justin ZeeJustin Bonomo has taken down the PokerStars Turbo Series 54: $5,200 NLHE 8-Max High Roller Turbo for $192,427. Poker’s biggest all-time tournament winner has proven that he is still just as good on the online felt as he is in the live arena.

194 entrants put together a nice prize pool of $970,000 to be shared amongst the top 23 finishers, with the eight-man final table all guaranteed at least $32,571.

Tomi “elmerixx” Brouk was the man who survived to attempt a takedown of Bonomo at the heads-up stage, but he couldn’t pull it off. Bonomo appears to be in the form of his life and the psychological advantage this gives him is overwhelming.

2018 saw Bonomo skyrocket his already impressive live tournament record to overtake Daniel Negreanu at the top of the money winners list. The 33-year-old American who now resides in Vancouver, Canada won $25 million to more than double his tally to almost $44 million.

The only other metric he is now likely to be eyeing up is his collection of three World Series of Poker gold bracelets. While they are tough enough to win even for the best players, Bonomo is a player who can surely add many more over the rest of his career to challenge even Phil Hellmuth’s leading total of 15.
