The late afternoon kickoff saw 203 entries to the $200kGTD Sunday High Roller Grind, a $1050 buy-in that would see the top 5 places walk off with 5-figure scores.

Topping the table at the end of a 10 hour+ grind was SchelampigaUhu, as we reported recently believed to be the account of Austrian-based, German crusher Ole Schemion. Two Swedes were among the final table but the $41,391 first prize eluded them.

Moving down the stakes slightly, the $530 Sunday High Roller Clasico saw a similarly fine turnout, 204 runners and an extra $4k over the $100k guarantee.

Canadian pros were plentiful when it came down to the serious money, but this time Sweden got the job done, with KrillleR scooping just over $21k ahead of the maple leaf duo of virophage and WWWpartyCOM.

The Sunday High Roller Gladiator – a $2100 buy-in PKO tournament – saw one of partypoker’s most successful online pros claim a victory, Brazilain star Joao joaosimaobh Simao taking a bounty almost double that of his first place prize!

The new ‘flattened’ pay structure saw 2nd placed skizo793 share the first two spots’ regular prizepool money – roughly $22.5k apiece - but his $5.4k bounty paled into insignificance as Simao grabbed an astonishing $42.6k from his headhunting.

Before we get to the day’s biggest win, a quick look at the $320 buy-in Sunday Gladiator, the $200k GTD KO pulling in 754 entries, adding some $32k to the total prizefund.

An 8 and a half hour shift was what it took for Finnish grinder Sunshineeee to emerge victorious, $18.6k in bounties adding to his $15.8k regular prizemoney.

The Big Game was, of course, the highlight of the day for the highstakes MTT crew – a $5200 buy-in with a $1million guarantee which was almost met when 196 runners appeared.

partypoker Team pro Dzmitry Dzmitry_Urbanov Urbanovich had a deep run, finishing 9th just behind a trio of UK players, with Ukraine’s ever-present Roman SanityWaterline Romanovskiy bagging an excellent $105,500 payday, leaving Brazil’s drakeonne and Canada’s RPILON to battle it out for top honours.

The Canadian prevailed – a $203.900 boost to the bankroll among his biggest-ever scores, as was the $148,000 runner-up prize for his Brazilian opponent.

That’s about it for the big-money Sunday grind this week on partypoker, but we’ll be back again next Monday to bring you the best of the online MTT world’s tournaments and winners.
