The online legend was the star of the HK$ 1million (US$127,000) buy-in special event to close out the series in Jeju, South Korea – the entry fee giving players three bullets to fire, 23 players taking Triton up on the additional chance to win some big money.

Triton has become synonymous with Short Deck poker, the all-action game played with 36 cards as the deck has the 2, 3, 4 and 5’s removed, and Kuznetsov proved he’s no mean exponent, knocking out his final four opponents to claim the victory.
