partypoker Increases Twitch Presence by Sponsoring ‘No Limit Gaming’

A well-designed strategy by partypoker to become highly visible on Twitch has reached a new level of prominence following the signing of an agreement to sponsor the No Limit Gaming stream team.

No Limit Gaming is made up of a group of high stakes poker pros that include the likes of partypoker ambassadors Fedor Holz and Josip Simunic, who aim to use their skills and successes in poker and put it into play within the esports industry. Founded by Stefan Schillhabel, NLG also counts Steffen Sontheimer, Manig Loeser, Rainer Kempe and Niall Farrell on its roster.

The entire poker line-up has cashed for more than $100,000,000, with Holz leading the way at $32,556,377.

“NLG is very proud to have partypoker as our poker team’s main sponsor,"  Schillhabel stated. "We're happy to be part of their Twitch plans and will try our best to support them to grow even bigger!”

Those Twitch plans have been making considerable headway as of late. Signing popular streamers such as Jeff Gross, Matt and Jaime Staples, and Bill Perkins and his Thirst Lounge got the ball rolling. And now a 1-year deal with the Super High Rollers of No Limit Gaming has added even more thunder to the equation.

partypoker managing director Tom Waters called the NLG crew "some of the world’s greatest players" and added that the new partnership has everyone at the poker room "excited to see where we can take the relationship throughout 2019.”

The NLG team typically streams a few times a week - mostly poker - but is planning a foray into esports with hopes of establishing a footprint in that popular and lucrative space.

The sponsorship agreement also calls for NLG members to support partypoker at its LIVE events for the next year. One of those members, Steffen Sontheimer, had an outstanding showing at the partypoker Caribbean Poker Party last November when he won a $250K Super High Roller for a massive $3,685,000 payday.

“It's great to see our team here at partypoker recognizing incredible opportunities," said Fedor Holz. "Between the Player Panel, Team Online and the addition of the No Limit Gaming project, I believe we at partypoker are making good progress to grow the game we all love."
