partypoker $30 Million GTD KO Series Kicks Off this Sunday

Online poker players looking for action and value will find both at partypoker beginning Sunday, May 12 when the $30 million guaranteed KO Series gets underway.

The action will come in the form of 226 Progressive Knockout tournaments over the course of 15 days thru May 26. The value will be there due to the fact that partypoker charges no rake on the bounty portion of the buy-in.

It's a recipe for excitement and huge paydays, especially for players who run deep and send a lot of their opponents to the rail. One of those players may be Team partypoker’s Kristen Bicknell, who plans on entering a bunch of tournaments.

“I'm really looking forward to the upcoming KO Series on partypoker!" Bicknell said. "So many great events make up the massive $30M in guarantees, I won't be skipping any of them. The knockout format adds a different element to the game as well."

Events for All Budgets

While you'll find Kristen at plenty of the tables, you'll also find players of every possible bankroll size and skill level. That's because the partypoker PKO festival features six different buy-in tiers ranging from ‘Micro’ to ‘Super High Roller'. Entry fees run the gamut from $2.20 to $5,200.

Supporting the KO Series is an extensive satellite schedule that allows players to win their seats at a heavily reduced price compared to the entry fee. The satellites start at just 22 cents ($0.22).

Also on the schedule are $5 buy-in special edition KO Series SPINS games with the top prize set at a $5,200 KO Series ticket. There are 10 different multipliers in the KO Series SPINS games, meaning that plenty of tickets at a wide range of values will be putting SPINS game winners into seats of the PKO festival.

10 Championship Events

All three Sundays of the KO Series will feature multiple Championship Events, each played under an 8-Max format and each with a prize pool of at least $1 million guaranteed. There are 10 Championship Events in all.

Check out the schedule below, and take note that the final day of the festival, May 26, will see over $7 million in guaranteed prize money paid out, highlighted by the $5,200 buy-in, $2M GTD Super High Roller.
