More Than $2million Won on Day 12 of partypoker’s KO Series

There were more than 2million reasons to celebrate on partypoker yesterday as their KO Series day 12 prizepools topped that mark, with Uruguays mbtremendo scooping $100k of that to go with his high-roller title

With a packed 14 event schedule, a thrilling Thursday saw the South Americans making a big move across the board, with the $500k guaranteed 8-max HR also featuring two Brazilians at the final table.

Everyone who made it that far secured four-figure scores, the rake-free bounty element on the PKO tournaments a welcome boost to eventual payouts, and in 4th spot we saw a familiar face – or name at least.

Brazil’s n1ceFTW fell just short of grabbing a second KO Series title, but walked off with $28,793, while Bulgaria’s savageplenty managed to break up the South American dominance with a 3rd place finish and close to $40k payday.

Heads-up and the bounties were massive, another Brazilian StillTrying adding $26k to his $41k split of the top two places, and mbtremendo topping the $100k mark with a massive $58,882 in bounties for the win!

In the $1050 buy-in High Roller, the $200k guarantee had a little extra added from the 217 runners – and this time Brazil walked off with the title.

Andras probirs Nemeth was among those running deep, as were Bosnia’s MrMaster98 – who landed a KO Series title just yesterday – and Russia’s ever-present Ilushan.

When it came down to the wire, however, it was Alexandre PokeyB_RedBaron Mantovani from Brazil who snared the title – one step up from his excellent runner-up finish at the weekend. Last night’s big win added over $43k to his $80k+ Sunday scoop.

‘Down’ at the $530 buy-in level, however, the Europeans fought back and relegated the Brazilian quartet to the lower placings, partypoker Team Pro Renato Nomura among them – finishing 13th, one spot behind Roman SanityWaterline Romanovsky.

Germany’s ACHSO8000 took the victory, the ten-hour battle worth more than $40k as he saw off Finland’s Jarildur1 heads-up for the title.

So, the weekend is almost upon us and the partypoker crew are preparing for a massive $7million in guarantees, the Championship events finale certain to bring out the big guns and numbers in force.
