To close out the massive online festival there were several Championship events on the schedule, none bigger than the $2million guaranteed Super High Roller – the $5200 buy-in attracting 411 entries.

It proved to be a happy hunting ground for the Brit-based pros, with partypoker’s Roberto WelshWizard Romanello taking almost $20k for his 13th place finish and the top two spots occupied by UK flag wavers.

Among the final table big-names was Steve eet_smakelijk O’Dwyer, the Irishman playing out of the Netherlands and taking over $63k for his 6th spot.

The heads-up battle for the crown featured Kenny Spacey1891 Hallaert and the anonymous COunCILtaX41 and it was the latter who emerged victorious – a $204,790 bounty to add to his $154,502 regular payout for a whopping total of $359,292!

Next up were a brace of $1million guaranteed high rollers, and the UK pros came so close to making it a remarkable trio of massive wins.

Firstly event 52, a $1050 buy-in tournament that drew 1202 entries, the final prizepool topping the guarantee by $¼million. It took over 12 hours to separate the masses and it all came down to a heads-up battle between jammermaat and kroutoon13.

When the dust had settled, the Dutch highstakes pro had the trophy in his grasp, and more than $155,000 in his pocket – with krouton13 taking over $110k for his second place.

In the $2100 version of the Championship High Roller finale, some 529 runners were chasing more than $1million in prizes, the hugely popular rake-free bounty element accounting for over half the payouts.

partypoker’s Patrick Leonard made a great run at the title, 11th place and over $13k the result. Russian online MTT crusher ilushan was up there once again, but the title was decided by a Latvian/UK showdown.

Rudiqa1 has been on a heater recently and when he finally saw off the challenge of CaptianB he had added almost $100,000 in bounties to the $77k for first spot.

With every guarantee smashed on the biggest day of the partypoker KO Series’ two-week run, there was also plenty of action slightly lower down the stakes.

The $1050 buy-in 8-max fast High Roller attracted 381 entries and that meant there was $198,000 in bounties to be won, with another $190k from the regular prizepool on the table.

Alex FkTheseGuysBro Foxen was the biggest name to make the final table, though hitting the rail in 6th, and it was Estonian pro WeisYis who snared the main share of the bounties, with more than $40k to add to his $29k first place payout.

Rounding out the top five of yesterday’s big finale we had a $530 8-max Hyper, with 316 runners chasing almost $162k to go with the title.

Sweden’s online MTT legend Niklas Drulitooo Astedt was in the mix but couldn’t hang on for the final table, but Canada’s MrMoneer did and closed out the win around the same time that his compatriot Francois Billard was lifting the partypoker MILLIONS LIVE Main Event in Montreal.

With the KO Series smashing all expectations, the partypoker online crew will be back in action almost immediately – the MONSTER Series already launching satellites to the $2.5million guaranteed festival.
